Cattle rearing is one of the farm’s key activities. Cattle are an important asset in Bangladesh’s livestock sector, and proper care, nutritious feed, and a hygienic environment are essential to maintaining their health and productivity.
Through its cattle-rearing activities, the farm demonstrates the potential of agriculture and livestock-based initiatives. Well-planned and responsible farm management also helps strengthen the livestock sector as a whole.
Alongside cattle rearing, the farm engages in fish farming, poultry and goat rearing, and the cultivation of a variety of vegetables. These integrated activities enable the coordinated development of different areas of agriculture and livestock production.
The vegetables grown on the farm also help meet the food needs of the residents of Amader Bari (Integrated Old and Children Home). In this way, the farm’s agricultural work is meaningfully connected to broader humanitarian efforts.
